«HAPPY HOME» KYIV
This is a small group home where 8 orphaned children with disabilities live permanently in a cozy atmosphere close to family, and receive professional support for physical, mental and social development.
Year of foundation: 2019
Why is this important?
In Ukraine, thousands of children with disabilities grow up in closed boarding schools – without care, proper care and a chance for a future. Adoption is a rarity for them, and after adulthood they often end up in homes for the elderly. Small group homes are a chance for a childhood with love, support and hope for a decent life.
What do we do?
We create a safe and cozy space
Small group homes give orphans with disabilities the opportunity to live in comfortable conditions close to family ones.
We provide high-quality care, rehabilitation and medical support
We organize rehabilitation activities, medical support and necessary treatment, including financing complex operations.
We promote integration into society
Our children study in comprehensive schools, attend clubs and sports sections together with other children, which helps them adapt to society.
We promote education and personal development
We help children get a quality education, organize individual training programs, tutoring and developmental classes.

We accompany children on the path to independence, help with socialization, career guidance and finding opportunities for the future.
