Sharing experience and knowledge: Teaching the course “Working with Children with Disabilities”
A Professional Approach to Inclusion: A Course by Oksana Sydorchuk
Oksana Sydorchuk, Head of the international charitable foundation “Circle of Friends”, conducted a training course, “Working with Children with Disabilities,” for students of the Christian Education Faculty at Kyiv Theological Seminary.
For three days, students explored theoretical foundations, and for two additional days, they gained hands-on experience at “Happy Home” Kyiv — witnessing firsthand what it means to be alongside children who overcome challenges every day.
We believe that the combination of deep understanding and real-life interaction shapes specialists who work not only professionally but also with heart.
Our mission goes beyond helping children here and now — we are committed to passing on our experience, so that more and more people are equipped to work in the field of inclusion.
We are thrilled to see growing interest in the needs of children with disabilities, especially among young people.
The “Circle of Friends” foundation is open to partnerships with educational institutions, organizations, and initiatives that share our values.
